Port of Corner Inlet and Port Albert

Location: Port Welshpool Shipping Pier

DATE:  15 June 2018 DETAILS:  Mariners are advised that due to the de-construction and re-construction work on the Port Welshpool Shipping Pier (Long Jetty) the Eastern Pier Light (Occ.R.10s) in position;

• Lon. 146° 26.987’ E     Datum WGS84

has temporarily been withdrawn from service to allow works to take place. Mariners are advised to take extra precaution when navigating the Lewis Channel near the Shipping Pier works site and are requested to pass the site at low speed to avoid wash.
