DETAILS:  Mariners are advised that on Saturday the 7th June, a jet ski sunk in the waters of Lake Wellington. 

 

The Jet ski was last sighted in the middle of Lake Wellington, slightly north of the Port Lateral Piles in approx. 3m of water. Although the ski sunk and was not visible from the surface, there is a possibility that the ski is not fully submerged and could pose a hazard to navigation. 

The Owners insurance company is arranging salvage of the Jet Ski and in the meantime, mariners are advised to navigate with caution through the area.
