Lakes Entrance – Entrance Channel

DATE:  1 June 2017 DETAILS:  Mariners are advised that following recent Survey results the entrance leads indicating the preferred transit line to cross the Bar at Lakes Entrance is aligned on “Green Light”. The bearing of “Green Light” is 347° (T) to Flagstaff Hill Light (F.20m 5M). Notice to Mariners 282 (T) 2016 refers. The latest bar survey is available and can be viewed on Gippsland Ports Website at www.gippslandports.vic.gov.au. The dredge “Kalimna” is operating in Reeves Channel adjacent to the entrance to Cunninghame Arm.
