DATE:  09 March 2018 DETAILS:  Mariners are advised that, following a recent bathymetric survey, a lit port hand lateral mark buoy (Fl.R.5s) has been established at the Western approach to McLennon Strait in position;

• Lat.   38° 05.611’ S
• Lon. 147° 25.033’ E                               Datum WGS 84

The light has been established to complement the existing lit starboard hand lateral mark beacon (Fl.G.4s) at Plover Point and assist Mariners during transits of the Western Approach to McLennan Strait Further Information is available from Gippsland Ports on 0427610025.
