Port of Snowy River

Location: Snowy River Entrance

DATE:  03 February 2020 DETAILS:  Mariners are advised that Parks Victoria personnel shall be opening the Port of Snowy River entrance to the sea beginning on Tuesday 04 February 2020. Parks Victoria will be establishing a Vessel Exclusion Zone within the port during the opening process. The exclusion zone will remain in effect until further notice and includes all the waters bound by the following coordinates:

• 148° 32.366’ E – 37° 47.866’ S
• 148° 32.383’ E – 37° 48.016’ S
• 148° 33.466’ E – 37° 47.866’ S
• 148° 33.450’ E – 37° 48.116’ S

DATUM: WGS84 Mariners are directed to stay clear of the exclusion zone and not to attempt to transit the lower reaches of the Inlet near the newly created opening. Further Information can be obtained by contacting Parks Victoria Ranger on 0408 368 164.
