Port of Anderson Inlet

Location: Anderson Inlet

DATE:  18 December 2019 DETAILS: Mariners are advised that Stage 1 of the Anderson Inlet buoy exchange and channel alignment program has been completed. Stage 1 included the exchange and alignment of all lateral mark buoys from the Inverloch boat ramp upstream to the junction of the Venus Bay Boat Ramp channel. There were 21 buoys exchanged as follows: Starboard Lateral Mark Buoys Numbered;

• 3, 3A, 5 and 7.

Port Lateral Mark Buoys Numbered;

• 4, 6, 8, 8A, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32 and 34.

Due to constant changing of the Anderson Inlet channel configuration, the buoy exchange and channel alignment will be updated on the Gippsland Ports website from time to time. Mariners are advised to check the Website for the current positions of all buoys.
