Boatyards & Slipways
Gippsland Ports operates two boatyards and several slipping facilities located at Paynesville, Lakes Entrance, Mallacoota, Port Welshpool and Port Franklin. The boatyards utilise state of the art equipment and highly skilled employees to produce quality results for customers. Contractors and owners are also able to utilise the facilities by prior arrangement.

Hydrographic Services
Gippsland Ports’ Hydrographic Services Group provides a range of specialist Hydrographic Survey services for offshore, near shore (including surf zone), inland waterways and dams. Utilising leading edge technology and skilled and experienced personnel the Hydrographic Services Group can provide an efficient solution to your hydrographic survey requirements.

Dredging
Gippsland Ports has opportunities for commercial hire arrangements of dredging equipment and dredgers. Dredging equipment can be made available provided the equipment is operated by Gippsland Ports’ employees. Services are available intermittently depending on Gippsland Ports’ requirements and scheduled dredging programs.

Construction & Maintenance Works
Gippsland Ports has been designing, building, extending and replacing wharves and jetties for many years. Highly experienced crews utilise special purpose plant and equipment to produce high quality work to Gippsland Ports’ high specifications. Gippsland Ports’ operations group can provide competitive quotes for jetty design, construction or ongoing maintenance/inspection services.
Gippsland Ports has also been contracted to provide wide ranging services that include installing artificial fishing reefs, providing advice on navigational requirements and developing waterway management plans for other waterway managers.
