Notices to Mariners
DETAILS: Mariners are advised that on Saturday 14th June, a four wheel drive (4WD) motor vehicle accidentally drove into the Tambo River at the Johnsonville Boat Ramp. The driver was rescued.Â

The 4WD was last sighted afloat approximately 400 metres downstream of the Boat Ramp precinct where it sank to the bottom in approximately 6m water depth.Â
Gippsland Ports has marked the approximate position with a lit (Fl(2).3s) Isolated Danger Buoy.Â

It is estimated that there will be 3.0m (minimum) water depth over the 4WD vehicle. Salvage arrangements of the vehicle are unknown at this stage. Â
