Through the period from early July to October 2025, Gippsland Ports will be implementing a project to replace all mooring piles within the Paynesville Boat Harbour’s. Replacement of the mooring piles is necessary due to their current poor condition.

Pile replacement works will affect approximately six berths at any one time, for a period of around one week at a time. The works will require that vessels from affected berths are moved to a temporary location made available by Gippsland Ports, for a period of around one week during the project timeframe. 

Gippsland Ports will contact all permit holders directly prior to any need for vessels to be temporarily relocated, to make suitable arrangements.

A materials storage and loading area has been established within the car park at southern end of Slip Road. This facility may have some impact on available car parking in this location.
