Port of Corner Inlet and Port Albert

Major Buoy Exchange Completed

DATE:  30th May 2024

PREVIOUS NOTICE:  Local Navigation Notice No.3(P) of 2024 is referred and cancelled.

DETAILS:  

Mariners are advised that the Port of Corner Inlet and Port Albert 2024 Major Buoy Exchange has been completed.

There has been a change to the position of two Major Buoys as follows:

1/ Port Albert Entrance Fairway Buoy (LFl.10s) has been repositioned approximately 20m West and established in position;

Lat.    38° 45.302’ South

Lon. 146° 42.385’ East

2/ Corner Inlet No.4 Port Lateral Mark Buoy (Fl.R.4s) has been repositioned approximately 70m South East and established in position;

Lat.    38° 48.097’ South

Lon. 146° 30.095’ East

There is no change to the position or flash character of the other 3 buoys exchanged.

• Port Albert Entrance Outer Starboard Lateral Mark Buoy (Fl.G.3s)
• Corner Inlet Entrance No.5 Starboard Lateral Mark Buoy (Fl.G.3s)
• Corner Inlet No.6 Port Lateral Mark Buoy (Fl.R.4s)
