Reeve Channel Nyerimilang

DATE: 4 March 2022 DETAILS: Mariners are advised that the construction of the Nyerimilang artificial reef is planned to commence on Wednesday 9^th March 2022. The construction site is situated adjacent to the north shore of Reeve Channel upstream of the Nyerimilang Jetty in an area bounded by the following GPS coordinates;

1. North East corner

Lat.    37° 52.673’ S Lon. 147° 55.738’ E

2. South East corner

Lat.    37° 52.706’ S Lon. 147° 55.741’ E

3. South West corner

Lat.    37° 52 777’ S Lon. 147° 55.426’ E

4. North West corner

Lat.    37° 52.745’ S Lon. 147° 55.410’ E Datum WGS84 and depicted on the attached Map; The reef will be constructed parallel to the north shoreline in waters between 6.3m and 6.7m depth at LAT. The reef sections will be deployed in an undulating profile and protrude approximately 300mm to 500mm above the seabed.
