Gippsland Ports and Qube recently received ‘Highly Commended’ under the category of   ‘Port or Terminal of the Year’ at the 2024 Australian Shipping and Maritime Industry Awards.   This Award recognises excellence in both specific port/terminal development projects, technical innovation, overall management achievements and commercial successes and was awarded for the outstanding work at the Barry Beach Marine Terminal, Corner Inlet.

Finalists for this category included some of the biggest ports in the country including Port of Townsville, Port of Brisbane, Patrick Terminals and Port Kembla. 

This annual prestigious event is revered by many as the most important gathering of the year and was held at the Plaza Ballroom in Melbourne, attended by over 500 guests.
